My final project of the year was called "Narrative Illustration". In this project I chose to re-illustrate the children's book "The Jumblies" as my narrative. The short story is about these very tiny mysterious beings with green faces and blue hands set sail in a sieve to travel to an island. A very simple premise however the challenge for me was to make my illustrations suitable for children which proved difficult as my style is more for an teenager to adult audience. However I believe my final 2 narrative images were successful in being suited to a child audience while maintaining my style which was the most important thing for me.
